In lieu of flowers, a Chase donation savings account has been established in Tyler’s memory. His sister, Jessica M Starr, is the account owner and administrator. All proceeds will be donated to the non-profit organizations that Tyler worked with and served. The Chase savings account routing number is 102001017 and the account number is 2909182800.
A memorial service for Tyler will take place on September 25, 2012 from 7-9pm at the Iliff School of Theology in the Great Hall, 2201 S. University Blvd., Denver, CO 80210.

This is Tyler Starr’s sister: Tyler passed away this morning, and is deeply missed and loved by his family and friends. We appreciate all the messages that we have received in this difficult time.
Tyler was an incredibly loving, intelligent, and caring individual, and was beloved in many student, volunteering, and city communities. He was passionate on civil rights, and would always help his communities before himself. He had a quick wit, and wasn’t afraid of sharing his thoughts, including non-stop serious and silly debates and deep discussions.
