On the eve of our presidential election, this article and short video reminds us of the courageous history we have in our nation.   Black people in small towns in Arkansas are fighting valiantly to make sure that all votes are counted — in the face of constant efforts to block our citizenship rights and our leadership.  Reading about community leaders like Alyce Love, William El-Amin, Curtis Mangrum and the victories they’ve helped create is instructive and encouraging.    Please share widely.
