On May 17, students, faculty and alumni from the Iliff School of Theology gathered to remember and celebrate the lives and spirit of our co-founders, Vincent and Rosemarie Freeney Harding, in honor of the third anniversary of Vincent’s passing. Wonderful music, personal recollections, a remarkable blended reading of excerpts from There Is A River and Remnants, and a powerful sermon by Rev. Anne Dunlap, were highlights of this moving tribute organized by the National Association of Pan African Students (NAPAS) at Iliff and hosted by Rev. Dr. Valerie Jackson and the University Park United Methodist Church in Denver. The VOHP extends warm thanks to all who helped create such a beautiful event, including Daryl Walker, Rahdearra Paris Woods, Candise Woods, Mina Nau, Eldon Creer, Heather “Brydie” Harris, Rev. Dr. Naomi Harris, Jonathan Harding, Dr. Thomas Wolfe, Dr. Edward Antonio, Dr. Alberto Hernandez, Rev. Nancy Rosas, Rev. Caran Ware Joseph, Dr. Cathie Kelsey and Dr. Jeremy Garber.
