Daughters of the African Atlantic Consultation

The Veterans of Hope Project is proud to support the 2018 Consultation of African and African Atlantic Women in Religion and Theology, coordinated by the Daughters of the African Atlantic Fund.  The theme of the 2018 consultation is “Embodying Courage: Black Women and Girls’ Lives Matter”

The Consultation — held this year in Salvador, Bahia Brazil — will present broad international and interdisciplinary explorations of ritual and activism in support of wellness for women and girls of African descent.  The Consultation hopes to be a point of intersectionality for all who are interested in “enhancing the quality of life of continental and diasporan African women and girls.”
