Mr. Phillip Jackson (b. 1950 ) has had a diverse professional career including serving as the Chief of Staff of the Chicago Public Schools; Chief Executive Officer for the Chicago Housing Authority and Chief of Education for Chicago. He is founder and Executive Director of The Black Star Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping African American children achieve all their full potential and to encouraging parents and educators to be more involved in students’ lives.
